It's acrylic - 15X20" illustration board. It has a teensy bit of gold on the yellow layer, but mostly it gets a metallic look from the way the colors are layered. The leaves are slightly recessed into the acrylic layers, like they were burned into the board.
Like all my paintings, I am not terribly happy with this photo. It doesn't really capture the look of the thing, plus the colors lost some of their saturation somewhere on the conversion to web format. Oh well. :/

Looks neat. I remember loving to play around with textures when I actually painted... All digi now with me...
