So, there will be weekly updates for the next 17 weeks.
This is part one of Chapter one. Chapter one has three parts (short, short, and scary long).
If you are impatient, you can buy 1.1 right now as a PDF on Storenvy. Paypal takes a fair chunk of that price, so I am charging a little more than what I consider typical small issue cost. Sorry. :/ When 1.2 comes out, I'll bundle them or include a free bookmark or something, to make it more appealing (note to self: make some bookmarks!). And, while we are talking about printed goods, IndyPlanet/Ka-Blam will be printing 1.1 ... eventually. I would have loved to have a link for that today too, but meh, they were distracted by other projects. Next week?

And as for what happens in 17 weeks when 1.1 runs out: I was originally hoping to start 1.2 in the same manner, but it may not be possible. My employment right now is less than evenly spaced, so it is very likely I will be working 3 full-time jobs for two or three months and say goodbye to all comic and sleep. But I will draw every second I have time, I assure you. There is nothing I would rather do than draw this comic. My cats will back me up on that one (I am apparently a terrible fur-parent).

So much detail here to love. That bird is just wonderful in its design. And the outfits! Sort of futuristic colonial chic! And the foliage! So much ... tree! At least we can say that you will be helping to make the next seventeen weeks awesome.
:Aw, thanks! Consider it paltry payback for the awesomeness that Puck has turned out to be. I am so happy you started it back up: it is one of my favorite webcomics and I read it every chance I get!
I am right there with ya. I know that theoretically we would love art less were it our primary income generator, but since that is not actually an option: hell, enjoy what time with it you can spare.
I have been entranced by your work since I first ran into the locked maze a couple years ago. I can't figure out whether you do your linework freehand or use a vector editor, it seems so spontaneous, yet every shape and outline is just so. I seem to remember a tutorial of some sort when the locked maze was still on your home site, but I can't seem to find it. I would be happy if you could shed a little light on the process.
