So... we have our first bit of magic. Which no one even really notices, barring our little boy Finnar. :)

And there is news this week: Webcomics Panel Thursday, March 29. I hope anyone going to ECCC will come - it's cheap and full to the brim with awesome webcomics!

Change to formatting. I will be posting even pages as half-page spreads and then updating them the following week with the full spread. I am not sure how dA will handle this approach. You may only see updates every other week. :/ And it does mean I'll be deleting older pages/comments to put in the prior spreads.

Man, that little spot of blue in the magic made things easier. The warm colors are starting to feel weighty :)

I always wonder if I should say things more obviously, or leave them implied. That was him going through: "Is she crazy? WTF? Oh - did she just...?" I've been reading Two Keys (OMG best comic ever - and in hardboiled style, so awesome) and the author there has the best ever balance between spoken and unspoken thought (although the ability to use voice-over text must help... I don't get to do that). There was one scene where I couldn't follow what was going on, but everything else has been just intellectually challenging enough to mind-read what's happening. I will have to post a review or something when I am done - it is so rare that I like a comic this much. :)

Well, from Locked Maze, I can definitely say that you're a master of the non-verbal communication in comics. Your characters are always able to express volumes in one expression.

Why thank you! It is a very big universe to write, and I think for awhile it is going to be very much, "huh?" for people to follow. So I put this little story first to at least lend a bit of context to the NOW FOR SOMETHING COMPLETELY DIFFERENT which comes after. :)
